Google Voice For iPhone Saga.
ThechCrunch all three letters that FCC sent out. I enjoyed reading all of them. I specially like the letter to Apple. But what I don't like is that when all three companies report by August 21, they can request confidentiality on all or portions of their answers.
All the links at the bottom of the article.
We were all mad (more than normal) and some even gave up iPhone, reacting to Apple's decision to lick that big striped but hollow ball of AT&T and reject Google Voice iPhone App. (Some people like Andy Abramson, whom I respect has other ideas but I like the AT&T ball version.)
Now the big daddy of air and other signal carrying waves, FCC wants to know what is up with Google Voice App rejection and whole sale purging of other apps that supported Google Voice! Yes Me too, Way to Go FCC! FCC is requesting information from all three companies involved, Apple, AT&T and Google! Hey what about us?
FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said it "has a mission to foster a competitive wireless marketplace, protect and empower consumers, and promote innovation and investment." But engadget wants more, they are asking Julius to fix, Slingbox and Skype. Hey I only know about Uninstalling Skype, specially now that Skype App runs on my iPhone and works great, I even bought Skype credit.
