3Skypephone is ready to tackle the world
3Skypephone, that we spoke about here and again here has more info now. I was happy to hear about that it will operate in other markets than UK. But it does not look like US is one of the markets.
What is required to use the phone for free Skype calls is, if you are a Pay As You Go user, the just pay (top up) every month to keep your phone active.
It's really easy to use, too. Just hit the Skype button, which is very big on the phone (see Photo) to connect to more than 246 million users on the Skype network and away you go. For as long as you like. Without paying a penny extra.
According to the site, The 3 Skypephone doesn't just help you talk and send instant messages – it's also a music megastore, a mobile TV and Mobile Web Browser.
If I am in England (I did spend some time at Cambridge, a while ago) I certainly would get a phone. Most hassle free way to use Skype, do not have to worry about not being a super node, share my bandwidth with other users or get blocked by providers.
