POTS on Crack = Windows on VoIP

Or is it VoIP on Windows?
Have you seen POTS (Plain Old Telephone)s gone to crack? Just try VoIP on Windows says Robert L. Mitchell of Computer world!
"Relying on a soft client running on Windows as my sole resource for making important calls has been a recipe for disaster. Plain old telephone service may be old fashioned, but you know what? With POTS, 99% of the time the phone just works. The same can't be said for my current voice over IP setup, which I am relying on in my new office."

This is just a client, imagine running all routing switching and rest of the stuff that VoIP sytem does. Microsoft has even added more than just VoIP, to it's Communications solution, aptly named unified Communications for OCS 2007
