Allo.com, Another VoIP Provider Closes door

Allo.com has announced that it will cease operations from August 2, 2007. But that is only for VoIP service. They will continue to provide VoIP hardware. People with Allo.com Credits and Minutes in their accounts, as well as those who have a 2 Year plan, Aloo.com is doing refunds on customer’s Credit Cards for the remaining months or minutes left. An email with the confirmation of the transaction is being sent. This process will continue until August 8, 2007.

ALLO.COM SERVICES TO BE DISCONTINUED AUGUST 2, 2007

As previously announced to all customers, Allo.com has decided to discontinue providing VOIP Services. We will keep offering innovative VOIP related hardware such as Analog Telephone Adapters and MicroPBX systems.

All services will be discontinued no later than August 2nd, 2007

Please note that we are not recommending to customers any particular provider with which they should switch to. It is the customer’s decision which carrier they wish to choose.

We urge each and every customer that has not signed up with a new service provider to do so immediately. Please do not delay, as services are being discontinued and will be permanently shut down no later than August 2nd, 2007.

For Customers with billing issues, we are answering our toll free 1-877-YES-ALLO from 9am to 5pm PST. As well, we are providing 24/7 Live Chat Support. Any billing inquiries can also be sent to billing@allo.com.

If you have an ATA that has been supplied by Allo.com, we will be contacting you to arrange pick up. If you purchased an ATA and wish to unlock it please contact tech1@allo.com.

For customers who have remaining Allo Credits and Minutes in their accounts, as well as those who have a 2 Year plan, we are doing refunds on customer’s Credit Cards for the remaining months or minutes left. An email with the confirmation of the transaction is being sent. This process will continue until August 8, 2007. If by that time you have not received an email with the notice of your refund, please feel free to contact us at billing@allo.com. Please make sure to provide your Order ID, Username and your full name.

For Local Number Portability (LNP) or porting out Toll Free numbers, we are receiving and processing all the requests from the new providers. We will do so until the 31st of August. If you have questions regarding transferring your number, you can email lnp@allo.com.
