Dilithium's 3G-324M Technology Licensed by UT Starcom

Petaluma, CA and Beijing, China — November 12, 2007 Dilithium, the leading supplier of converged video solutions, announced that UT Starcom Telecom Co. Ltd. has licensed Dilithium’s market leading 3G-324M video telephony stack software and has also entered into an OEM agreement with Dilithium. UT Starcom’s Terminal Business Unit designs and develops mobile handset solutions and will incorporate Dilithium’s stack into their TD-SCDMA video handsets.

The Dilithium 3G Video Stack is the most established stack on the market. The first shipment of the stack started in 1999, and it is now in more 3G handsets brands and models than any other stack. The video stack supports all industry leading audio and video codecs, including H.264, MPEG4-part 2, H.263 as well as AMR (narrow and wide band).
