Facebook's claim is that the Facebook Credit will make the system easy for all those who indulges in purchasing virtual goods for real money. If you play any big games on Facebook like Zinga, Playfish you have already seen the effect of the virtual money from Facebook.
But this will go way beyond games as many more are integrating their services with Facebook we may start pay with Facebook for website content, real goods. So with Facebook adopting the industry standard cut, of 30% stand to gain a whole lot. Like the rumor, that Zynga is paying Facebook around $30 million a month for its Credits usage.
