Apple Is Cancelling A Bunch Of iPhone 4 Pre- Orders It Seems
UPDATE Apple released an statement and it could be found at the end of the article;
Apple Does Not Have Enough iPhones? http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
Apple and AT&T seem to have trouble with stores and iPhone 4 orders, continuously. Perhaps they should use Google Checkout! Because it seem to work so far unlike Apples own store and AT&T's store, under pressure. Both had enough of problems since Apple started taking Pre-Orders for iPhone 4. Google Store another option, for next device release.
Engadget tells us that Apple is sending out emails, a quite a bit, telling customers that their orders were canceled.

Dear Customer,If I got this letter after what people went through to get hteir order in, I will go get me a Droid Incredible.
We were unable to complete the authorization process for your iPhone
order. As a result, we had to cancel your iPhone order. To complete the
purchase of your iPhone, please visit an Apple Retail Store or an AT&T
company-owned retail store.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
Sincerely,

Apple Statement on the subject;
Yesterday Apple and its carrier partners took pre-orders for more than 600,000 of Apple’s new iPhone 4. It was the largest number of pre-orders Apple has ever taken in a single day and was far higher than we anticipated, resulting in many order and approval system malfunctions. Many customers were turned away or abandoned the process in frustration. We apologize to everyone who encountered difficulties, and hope that they will try again or visit an Apple or carrier store once the iPhone 4 is in stock.
