North Clayton Middle School is alive 24/7 with wireless tools provided through a pilot project by the school and the Alliance for Digital Equality, a first step of a much larger project, called Partners for Digital Equality Learning Without Walls(TM).

"Qualcomm believes that access to wireless education technology and digital content are key factors to improving academic achievement," said Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, chairman and CEO of Qualcomm. "Just as business professionals now connect with their colleagues, business systems and documents through mobile technologies outside of the traditional 9-5 workday, students should have access to connect with their learning communities and education materials 24/7. We are proud to work with project participants such as AT&T, who is making its 3G network available to develop a pilot that will demonstrate the use and benefits of wireless broadband technology."
The project is supported by AT&T, HP, Qualcomm, SMART Technologies and Saywire and are providing the North Clayton Middle School with the necessary training and the means for the collaborative effort.
