Skype Will Be At 2008 International CES

As I mentioned before, I will be heading out to sin city for CES 2008 and I just noticed that BlogHaus will be at the same place I am staying, Bellagio. Skype will be there to provide Skype experience to media during ShowStoppers at the Wynn Las Vegas anf they will also be connecting to PodTech's BlogHaus virtually. I will see how all these go. LUXEMBOURG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Skype will be offering a sneak peek at the 2008 International CES of the newest devices and accessories on which the mobile Skype™ experience will be available to the more than 246 million registered Skype users worldwide. A wide variety of new and innovative wireless devices and accessories will be on display.

A sneak peek of the mobile Skype experience is available for media during ShowStoppers at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel from 6-10 PM PST on Monday, January 7, 2008, as well as in Skype’s PR Suite in the Las Vegas Hilton (Suite #5121) throughout the week.

In addition, Skype will be connecting this year’s ShowStoppers media event with PodTech’s BlogHaus at the Bellagio. This Virtual BlogHaus will take advantage of High Quality Video on Skype, the new benchmark for video calls over the Internet, to connect the two locations. You’ll see a sharper and smoother video call, at 640x480 pixel resolution (VGA) at up to 30 frames per second. The experience will be so good, it might be better than actually being there.
