BroadSoft Webinar, Carrier-Grade VoIP And Salesforce.com Mashup
GAITHERSBURG, MD, Jan. 14, 2008 - BroadSoft, Inc., a leading provider of VoIP application software, today announced that it will host a webinar on the mashup of its award-winning BroadWorks® VoIP application platform with salesforce.com, the market and technology leader in on-demand business services. The webinar is scheduled for January 16, and will cover the integration of BroadWorks with salesforce.com's customer relationship management (CRM) applications.
Using the BroadSoft Unified Connector, a computer telephony integration connector for the BroadWorks platform, Salesforce users can now fully integrate with their BroadWorks-based phone systems. This enables enterprises to use their carrier-grade VoIP calling features-such as call control, call hold and call transfer-in conjunction with the customer relationship management features in Salesforce. Additionally, BroadWorks end-users can automatically capture and manage detailed logs of all calls from within salesforce.com to track interactions with customers. The integration also automatically opens a caller's Salesforce contact record when the user receives an incoming call. Industry analysts have given enthusiastic reviews of the BroadWorks-Salesforce Web 2.0 mashup. Laurie McCabe of AMI Partners said, "SMBs and large enterprises that want a more unified and streamlined way to integrate contact management with VoIP should find this offering compelling." The webinar, BroadSoft Unified Connector for Salesforce, will provide an overview of features available through the mashup, how the Unified Connector works and details on how service providers can try the mashup for free. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, January 16, at 11:00 a.m. EST and 9 p.m. EST for the APAC region. There is no cost to participate.
