iPad Rival To Come From Verizon With A Little Help From Google Android

WSJ published today news about Android based tablet device to be run on Verizon, the largest carrier in the US. With a saturated cell phone market, (90% of the US population carries a phone device), all carriers are looking into new devices like e-readers and iPads and for a while netbooks.

"We're working on tablets together, for example. We're looking at all the things Google has in its archives that we could put on a tablet to make it a great experience." said the Verizon's chief executive, Lowell McAdam.

Stuffed amid the tablet news was the intended changes to payment plans for the carrier. It seems the unlimited data plans going to have limits and different plans will be offered with different prices. Multiple device owners are going to pay more for the services.

Verizon will release more information about the Android Tablet soon
