Telecommunications Community Cooperatives in Argentina To Get Help From VocalTec and Technology Bureau

HERZLIA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VocalTec Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq Capital Market: VOCL), a global provider of carrier-class multimedia and voice-over-IP solutions for communication service providers, and Technology Bureau, a leading Systems Integrator in Argentina, announced their cooperation in providing complete VoIP solutions to the service provider market as well as Telecommunications Community Cooperatives (TCCs) in Argentina.
A TCC is an autonomous democratically managed association of individuals, who jointly respond to common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations. TCCs operate in remote or low-populated areas to provide telephone and Internet services to their target populations. Most TCCs also offer free community services, such as courses on information and communication technologies (ICTs), and free Internet access to public schools, libraries, and public facilities (police stations, hospitals, etc.).1
