Skype Security Hole Patched, Upgrade Your Client
Skype that seemingly did not have any security issues since October 03, 2006 (The last day there was a security advisory published by Skype ), has quietly closed a hole in their Skype for Windows Software.
All users are advised to upgrade to the latest version.(When Skype is open, simply click on "Help/Check for updates"). The Skype skype4com URI Handler Remote Heap Corruption Vulnerability details could be found at zero day initiative site.
