With having more than 500,000 active users, the $0.99 Facebook App for iPad (unofficial) have been making waves among iPad users. But now the industry experts are wondering if the company who made the app, Oecoway, could turn that wave in to a tsunami with newly released free version of Friendly.
The one dollar friendly will not go away with the introduction of the free version, but both versions will coexist, providing different fronts of profitability to the company.
The free version will make money with ads and the paid version will present facebook on a clean slate.
I wonder what will happen when the Official Facebook App for iPad shows up, which one will show up when you search for "facebook" on iPad app store.
