Press Release - PRNewswire
MyNetFone (ASX: MNF), Australia’s leading provider of hosted voice and
data communications services, is now also Australia’s fastest growing
ASX-listed Telco, according to the results of Business Review Weekly's
(BRW) Fast 100 list for 2014.
In the recently announced BRW Fast 100 list, MyNetFone was ranked above
its ASX-listed peers in the Telco industry and was positioned 43rd of
all nominated fast growing companies in Australia, based on turnover.
The company achieved a record profit result for the full year ending 30
June 2014. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation
(EBITDA) rose to $9.0 million, with net profit after tax (NPAT) rising
to $5.8 million, representing increases of 48% and 40% respectively when
compared with the company’s performance during the previous financial
year.
“We are delighted to be featured in the BRW Fast 100 list for our
significant and consistent growth,” said Rene Sugo, CEO of MyNetFone.
“MyNetFone has performed very well with strong organic growth and
strategic acquisitions. To see the business go from strength to strength
and be recognised by this leading business accolade is fantastic”.
MyNetFone celebrated the significant milestone of 10 years in business
earlier in 2014. One of the early VoIP pioneers, it now owns and
operates Australia’s largest VoIP network, providing hosted voice and
data communications services for residential, business and government.
In recent years, MyNetFone has focused on a strategy of organic growth
supplemented by profitable acquisitions. Its 2014 performance includes
full-year contributions from its acquisitions including GoTalk
Wholesale, Connexus and CallStream, purchases that were completed at the
end of December 2012.
“MyNetFone had previously been recognised for its strong performance as a
start-up by BRW, being named as a Fast Starter for three consecutive
years from 2008, so it is very fitting that we have now graduated to
BRW’s Fast 100 list,” Sugo continued.
The BRW Fast 100 list is ranked according to the average growth rate for
revenue over four years, for Australia’s fastest growing companies of
up to 200 employees. MyNetFone also gained international recognition
this year for its consistently good performance by attaining a place in
Forbes Asia’s Best Under A Billion list.
