Q4'12 iPad Sales Might Not Be As Rosy As Assumed

TrendForce, a market research firm based in China is reporting that Apple's iPad sale decline may be worse than previously assumed. Market saw a decline in Apples share prices ahead of the Q4'12 financial report. Some fear that the market dominance held by Apple is slowly slipping.
There are also others who reported along the same lines. “Sharp’s iPad screen production line at its Kameyama plant in central Japan has fallen to the minimal level to keep the line running this month after a gradual slowdown began at the end of 2012,” Reuters reporting about Apple's 9.7 inch inch screen production.
Trendforce reports “The tablet shipment showed dramatic growth, As Apple’s 9.7” product saw lower-than-expected sales in Q4’12, the inconsistency emerged between panel suppliers’ output and clients’ procurement. But Apple increased procurement significantly at the end of the year on concern of maintaining the following relationship with suppliers, resulting in a noticeable 25.6% growth in the overall tablet panel shipment MoM to 19.34 million units, but Apple‘s act must drag down the 9.7” product demand even more in Q1’13.”
