With ups and downs for more than one and half years, raising our hopes on a tablet that could have been useful, now have reached a new level, a federal lawsuite.
Fusion Garage dropped TechCrunch from the deal that appeared to be a nice venture and went on to promote JooJoo for $500. Even though I liked the CrunchPad and the idea, I would not have paid $500 for JooJoo. But now the chances are even slimmer.

Emerging from the deadpool, the Crunchpad has got a new name, JooJoo! and is slated to be released on 11th Dec 2009. (Yes we are looking forward to it)
Gizmodo did a hands on and from their account, the platforms seem to be solid as far as solid for plastic go and the tablet now has a 12" screen that can do 1080P! It also comes with a headphone jack, a microphone jack, a built-in webcam at 1.3 megapixels, a charging port and a USB slot.
The device is powered by an Intel Atom with graphics chip Gizmodo suspects to be a Nvidia ION.
Oh by the way it is not only the name that changed, the pad is going to be somewhere around $500!
