snom technology AG, announced yesterday that it has become the first SIP phone manufacturer to support the TR-069 standard. TR-069 has been developed by the International Broadband Forum and devices following the standard, such as SIP phones will be able to contact auto- configuration servers to automatically obtain the configuration information, latest updates and security settings.
