Apple Brings Apple HomePod price down $299 In US As well as worldwide.

Apple cut the price of their smart speaker, HomePod, down from $349 to $299 in its USA, $449 to $399 in Canada and £319 to £279 in the UK.

Speakers from Amazon and Google, except the $399 Google Home Max, were all selling below the price of HomePad. The other home speaker maker, Sonos has a number of products that are cheaper than HomePod. There were reports that suggested sales were sluggish for the HomePod.
So the move by Apple could be to entice more people to buy a HomePod, But the field is awash with smart speakers.
