Trojan Purporting To Be A Virtual iPhone Game, Attacks Windows.
According to a post on eWeek, home hackers have got bright idea to send email supposed to be like a delivery of a popular iPhone game, Penguin.Panic.zip after the popular "Penguin Panic" game for the iPhone. Earlier we have has iPhone firmeware 1.1.3 prep, itself as a Trojan.
Sophos researchers have uncovered it to be a Trojan, Troj/Agent-HNY, and the spam e-mails contain subject lines such as “Virtual iPhone games!” and “Apple: The most popular game!” . “It's your bog-standard malicious Trojan horse, designed to hand control of the compromised computer over to a third-party hacker,” said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos.
