Google Voice for iPhone App Looking Good And Official!

Google Voice for iPhone App
If you were using, like me the Google Voice HTML5 Web App because Apple took all the Google Voice Apps offline, be happy, the official Google Voice for iPhone App is out. Looks like finally molasses brains of app approval process at Apple is moving, in the right direction. Because some time ago, Apple told us that Apple Never Blocked Google Voice For iPhone App and that it was in the waiting list for approval. What ever the case I am happy to have Google VOice on iPhone and I am sure many more are.
With the iPhone Native app, you get all the features of Google Voice on the iPhone, most striking ones being;
  • Cheap rates for international calls
  • Free text messaging to U.S. numbers
  • Voicemail transcription
  • Display your Google Voice number as caller ID when making calls
And being on iPhone brings;
  • With push notifications, the app will alert you instantly when you receive a new voicemail or text message
  • Most of your calls will be placed via Direct Access Numbers, making them connect just as quickly as regular phone calls.
Google Voice for iPhone is available to download from the Apple App Store today. Make sure your iPhone has at least iOS 3.1 and that you are in the great land of USA.
