Fix A Repeatedly Rebooting iPhone

#Repeatedly #Rebooting #iPhone http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
Based on a comment left on my post titled "  Reset Your iPhone To Factory Setting. (Low Level Format Your iPhone)",  I decided to post this simple routine to fix a repeatedly rebooting iPhone. This solution applies to all iPhones I have tried so far, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G. I have not tried this on earlier iPhone.
Always exercise patience when your upgrade, update or restore an iPhone, or anything for that matter..
As usual I hope you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer, be it a Mac or Windows PC. Use your USB to iPhone cable and connect your iPhone to your computer.
If your iPhone is detected, you are good and can skip this step and go to the line starting with "***". Otherwise, if your phone is not detected by iTunes, we need to put your iPhone in DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode. Again while sounding scary, this is simple;
To get in to DFU mode, while the phone is connected to the computer, hold down the home and power button together for about 10 seconds, then let go the power button while continuing to hold the home button. Once iTunes detects your iPhone, you can let go the home button too.
"***" Now from iTunes select the “Restore” option from the “Summary” tab.
iTunes will prompt you with a screen that asks if you wish to back up your iPhone before restoring. You can backup but it could be a broken backup. (Hope you have backup of your iPhone done before the trouble, if not make this a lesson for you to take backups at least weekly.). Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you. It will take a while and once the restore process has completed your iPhone will restart and the Apple logo will appear while booting up.
As your iPhone reboots after restoration, you will see the “Connect to Activate” screen. You must continue to keep your iPhone connected to complete activation. Once that is done restore your iPhone or iPod touch from a previous backup or setup your iPhone up as a new iPhone. Now you should be good to go!
