Arizona Supreme Court Rules Metadata Is A Part Of Public Record

Lobbyists now will have to take extra care since metadata in public records are public records snapvoip.blogspot.com
According to ARS,  Arizona Supreme Court has ruled that meatadata attached to a public record is public record, in a ruling on an an Arizona case.
A case by a police officer who was demoted for reporting serious police misconduct, demanded to see metadata attached to reports filed by fellow officers, was refuced.
The case traveled a long way before landing in the Supreme Court which ruled such metadata is public records. Hooray!
Now we can see likes of California Attorney General Bill Lockyer peddling for MPAA and anti-google lobbying and Google's own doing, publicly!
