Skype SILK Speech Codec Will Be Free To Developers.

Skype’s new speech codec SILK which the company touted to out perform current high efficiency codecs like Speex, iSac and AMRWideband, will be made available to third party licensees for free. Skype GM Jonathan Christensen will be speaking about the new program at the eComm event in San Francisco later today.
We use Speex in conjunction with PJSIP.
