Still the conference is going on and yes we have a winner, the first Android based phone is here, which we were awaiting since we said "Google Phone Coming Soon". The HTC Dream or T-Mobile G1 as you will know at any T-Mobile outlet. The T-Mobile G1 released in collaboration with Google is the first commercially available phone based on the 'Android' operating system, which empowers developers with tools to create and offer consumers applications that add value without high and mighty attitude of mobile companies that we have come to know. They used to even restrict what ring tones you could have on your phone until a short while ago.
The T-Mobile G1 / HTC Dream, which some authors on CNET already called chunky (May be people who are locked into 2 year iPhone contract!) will reveal a new horizons yet again following the industry, get you in to a two year contract! (I need to check on that early termination fee lawsuit in California!)
But all in all, the phone has much more to phone like Touch screen, Quick and easy access to the Internet one click away, 3MP camera, customizable home screen, Hinged screen slides open to reveal QWERTY keypad, IM /TEXTING and Email to connect you more ways than one, MP3 Player, Video Player and last but not the least, 3G and WiFi that transit seamlessly provide continuous INTERNET experience.
Remember you are also a click away from Android Market, where you could find all the applications to fill your needs.
