GUPS to help Universities with VOIP


A group has launched an initiative to provide free phone calls within universities.The Robertson Education Empowerment Foundation's (REEF's) Global University Phone System (GUPS) will provide means to enable VOIP calls between universities using Linux based Asterisk (an OpenSource VOIP Platform). System which is refered to as GUPS is in beta testing.
Any University could join provided that they meet some basic requirements. More info and application is here
